YOUR NEIGHBOURHOOD TAPROOM

THE SPOT

Daft Brewing is the culmination of almost four years of work between a group of guys who didn’t have any business starting a brewery.

Our aim was to create a unique, west-coast style tap room that doesn’t blend in with the crowd. The ultimate taproom for anyone who loves beer and socializing. A non-pretentious spot for craft beer drinkers of all levels.

To accomplish this goal, we completely renovated an old 5-bay car garage in Williamsville District on Princess Street. We wanted an easily accessible space with the freedom to throw open the garage doors and expose the entire brewery to the outside. When we discovered what was a dingy old car garage in the Williamsville district, we immediately saw its potential. We also felt that Williamsville was an incredibly underserved neighbourhood and wanted to provide the hood’ with a neighbourly spot away from the downtown core. We believe every neighbourhood should have a place where people can gather and build a sense of community.

Our spot features a massive patio, full taproom, custom tables painted by local artists, 3 full wall murals, an open concept brewery, and some damned good beer.

What Our Guests Say About Us

Surprisingly Amazing Pizza

Who says a brewery can’t have some of the best pizza in town! Whether you want a classic Margherita Pizza (“It’s just as good as the pizza I had it Italy” - customer that just got back from Italy) or Something a bit more interesting (our Dill Pizza Slaps!) We’ve got you covered.

Cold Beer. Good People. No Attitude.

Pull up a stool and stay a while. We converted an old car garage into Kingston's most laid-back taproom. Come as you are.

Something's Always Happening

Trivia, karaoke, stand-up comedy, euchre nights. Because drinking is more fun when you’re doing something. Check the calendar and find your crowd.
