2. What Information We Collect
- Online orders: your name, email address, phone number, billing address, and order details. Checkout is guest based, we do not create customer accounts and we do not store passwords.
- Contact and booking forms (private events, large groups, Beer Club): your name, contact details, and the message you send us.
- Newsletter: your email address, only if you choose to subscribe.
- Site usage: anonymous analytics data such as pages visited, device type, and general location, collected through cookies.
Data Storage Location. Our website and its database are hosted on secure servers in North America. Payment information is handled by Square and newsletter data is stored with our email provider, Mailchimp.
3. Payments
All card payments are processed by Square, a PCI compliant payment provider. Your card details are entered in Square’s secure payment form and go directly to Square. We never see or store your full card number on our servers. Square’s own privacy policy applies to payment processing.
4. Cookies
We use a small number of cookies: shopping cart and session cookies that make the online store work, a language preference cookie if you switch between English and French, and analytics cookies (Google Analytics) that help us understand how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though the store may not work properly without the essential ones.
5. Who Has Access to Your Data
Only Daft Brewing staff who need your information to fulfil your order or respond to your inquiry can access it. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone.
6. Third Party Services
We rely on a few trusted services to run this site: Square (payments), Google Analytics (site statistics), Google reCAPTCHA (spam protection on our forms), Mailchimp (newsletter), and GTranslate (translations). Each service processes only the data needed to do its job, under its own privacy policy. Our site also links to external services such as Eventbrite and DoorDash. Once you leave our site, their privacy policies apply.
7. How Long We Retain Your Data
We keep order records for as long as required for accounting and tax purposes. Form inquiries are kept only as long as needed to handle your request. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, see Your Data Rights below.

The entire site runs over SSL/HTTPS encryption. Our systems are protected with security tools and strong access controls, and payment data never touches our servers.

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, request a correction, or ask us to delete it. Email info@daftbrewing.com and we will respond as quickly as we can, in line with Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA).
10. Age Restriction
Daft Brewing is a brewery, and this website is intended for visitors who are of legal drinking age in Ontario (19+). We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
