Kids Craft Parents Drink

Join us for a fun afternoon of drop-in art-making out on DAFT’s new deck!

Happening July 27 from 12:00pm - 1:30pm. This event is $10 per child, with a juice box and goldfish provided!

Children will be supervised by their parents while enjoying the outdoors. Artist Tessa Charlebois will guide the children as they build art at each table. Each family can move through the 3 different Lab Tables. Adults are free to enjoy beverages/food while their kids make magic! 

Event Highlights:
  • Supervised by Parents: Children will be under the supervision of their parents while engaging in art-making.
  • Guided by Artist Tessa Charlebois: Kids will receive expert guidance in their creative endeavors.
  • Three Lab Tables: Each family can move through three different lab tables, each offering unique art activities.

  • Community and Fun: Kids Craft Parents Drink is the perfect way to meet other families in the community, and maybe even have your kids make some new friends! 
  • Mental Stimulation for Your Kids: The event is designed to provide children with a creative and experimental art-making experience while parents enjoy some leisure time. The activities promote creativity, skill development, and imaginative thinking in a fun and supportive environment.

 

Upcoming Events:
  • Weekly Events: Weekly trivia, karaoke, and euchre is hosted at Daft, join us and spice up your week!
  • Stand-Up Comedy: Stand-Up comedy nights are hosted by the charismatic and comedic superstar Ryan Dennee. Every first Thursday of the month, we transform our brewery into a side-splitting comedy club, offering an evening of unforgettable laughter and good times. 
  • Drag Bingo: Join Rowena Whey on the 2nd Thursday of every month at 7:30pm for an evening of free-to-play Drag Bingo. Arrive anytime and join the fun! There are prizes after each round of bingo, and Drag performances between each round.
  • Drag Roulette: Get over to the brewery for this awesome new event at Daft – Roulette. Kingston’s local Drag Queen legend, Rowena Whey, will be hosting. Featuring games, drinks, and performances of your favourite songs because YOU choose the songs.
